The 2002 Sun Cycle Chart

Each year a new Sun Cycle commences when the Sun moves from south to north declination. At this time the electromagnetic relations established determine where each sign is located in the sky. It is an extremely important astrological event. The Y2002 Sun cycle commences at 7.16pm GMT on March 20th 2002 – as per Raphael’s Ephemeris. Astrodyne power, harmony and discord in mundane astrology:

Astrodyne power (in any birthchart) translates as importance. In a mundane chart the mundane-matters and people ruled by the powerful planets and houses attain importance.

Astrodyne harmony translates as gains, progress and growth. The mundane-matters ruled by a high-harmony planet experience gains, progress and productive growth. The people ruled by a high-harmony planet have a constructive, beneficial influence. They experience success, gains and benefits. The mundane-matters ruled by a high-harmony
house experience gains, progress and productive growth. The people ruled by a high-harmony house have a beneficial influence. They experience success, gains and benefits. Astrodyne discord translates as adversity, misfortune, difficulties and a lack of growth.

Discord spells trouble. The mundane matters ruled by a high-discord planet experience setbacks, adversity, difficulties and sluggish growth. The people ruled by a high-discord planet have an adverse, unfortunate influence. They experience problems, setbacks, failure and adversity. The mundane-matters ruled by a high-discord house experience adversity, misfortune, problems and a lack of growth. The people ruled by a high-discord house have an adverse, unfortunate influence. They experience problems, setbacks, failure and adversity.
Mundane astrology decodes the messages being sent by the planets, but it is very important to understand just what mundane astrology can and can’t do, and the scope of the information provided by a mundane chart. A mundane chart pictures the inner-world environment and the influence – whether fortunate and beneficial, or unfortunate and
detrimental – it is having on the world’s mundane affairs. The chart pictures definite astrological affects, influencing particular mundane issues, but it does not picture precise events. For example: If Jupiter, the planet of increase and expansion, is in the 5th house, ruling the share market, in the Washington Sun Cycle chart the astrological affect on the share market will actualize as rising stock prices and a prosperous period on Wall Street. This information combined with a through understanding of America’s current 7th house situation would have provided more information, but the prediction of the actual event – planes piloted by Islamic terrorists, crashing into the Twin Towers and Pentagon – is
beyond mundane astrology. Those who claim to precisely predict such events using astrology are whistling Dixie. The facts are: (1) A planet by its house position in the Sun Cycle Chart indicates a new inner-world influence (planet) affecting a definite area of the mundane agenda (house): And the power of the planet influences the importance of the event. (2) If the planet is harmonious its influence on the house-specific mundane agenda will be fortunate; and (3) if the planet is discordant its influence will be unfortunate.

The new Sun Cycle for Washington commences at 2.16pm EST on March 20th 2002. This chart is born at a time of struggle and adversity. The US is engaged in a war on terror, the economy is sluggish, the President and Congress are under great stress, unemployment is a major problem, there’s business uncertainty and a real (or unreal) threat of another terrorist attack by an open or secret enemy.

When interpreting any birthchart it is essential to focus on the relevant and disregard the irrelevant. Power is relevant. High-power translates as relevance and low-power translates as irrelevance. Thus in this Washington Sun Cycle Chart the focus is on the high-powered planets and houses. The aspects formed by the Sun in the Sun Cycle Chart are very important.

This does not mean that important events ruled by these houses won’t occur during this astrological year. It just means that one of the other mundane cycle charts will influence these events. The Mars cycle chart influences the most important strife, violence and accident events: the Jupiter cycle chart influences the most important financial events: the Saturn cycle chart influences the most important work, hardship and security events: the Uranus cycle chart influences the most important radical-change events: the Neptune cycle chart influences the most important fraud, scandal, oil, chemical and aviation events: and the Pluto cycle chart influences the most important group, cooperation, coercion, crime, terrorist, kidnapping and humanitarian events.

The student of mundane astrology needs easy access to a radio, television or newspaper that prioritizes the international and national news by its importance. This permits easy verification of the events mapped in the mundane cycle charts as they occur.
